Security guidelines
SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
We ask all members to be friendly and respectful to each other.
Identity
In order to protect your identity, we recommend you to not publish your personal details such as first name, last name, address, e-mails and phone numbers but to use an alias (nickname).
Minors
Members under 18 years of age are specifically required to share with their parents or guardian the identity of, and any appointments with, unfamiliar people, thereby firstly gaining their consent.
Contact with other members
Contacting members is your own responsibility. FriendsToRent assumes no responsibility for the behaviour of its members inside and outside the service.
FriendsToRent does not control the integrity of its members nor the truthfulness of the information its members publish on FriendsToRent.
FriendsToRent recommends common sense in dealing with unknown people and appropriate caution in making contact with other members both on and outside the website; remember that when you meet people face-to-face you give them open access to your identity.
Inform people who you are close to about your whereabouts and only meet people for the first time in public and crowded places; only arrange appointments in remote places or in private setting with people you can perfectly recognise by their picture.
NB: Earning money above a statutory threshold even in your spare time is usually still subject to taxation. Please find out from your local tax office how much are the tax free thresholds and annual tax levels.
